Saturday 28th : Family Frontier Days in Beggs, OK - We will have the UNITED FREESTYLE STUNT TEAM in town!!! Along with a Kids Zone, Pie Auction, Live Music and much, much, more!!!

Salsa Contest
Swap Meet at the First Baptist Church - You bring 3 high quality garage sale type items (excluding all clothes, paperback books, other items maybe included - will update as we find out)
Salsa Competition - Like Salsa? Make Salsa? Taste Salsa? Well then this is the event for YOU!! Make up a batch of your famous homemade salsa and bring it down for a community taste test! Prizes will be given based off a judging of all salsas entered, a peoples choice award and a table decorating award (must provide own table for this event, card table is suggested). The Chamber will have tasting kits available and awards will be given about 1:00 pm
The United Freestyle Stunt Team from Ft. Worth, Tx will be into for 3 shows during the day. They do BMX and skate board stunt shows that everyone young and old will enjoy!
Mini Car Races - Come out and 'Adopt' your own mini car for the day and get into the race, each car is $2.00. Prizes given to winner(s) of final race.
Pie Auction - The Chamber is working on the Beggs City Park and we are looking for groups, organizations, clubs, businesses, and individuals that would also like to see the Beggs City Park fixed so the children of our community have a place to play, families can picnic and groups can have parties. We know many in the community would like to see that happen, but may not always know how to help or what they can do. The Chamber is asking for the donation of a baked pie, cookies, cinnamon rolls or a cake that can be auctioned off to raise the needed funds to help make the park useful again.
Beard Contest - Have a beard? Thought about starting one? Is it fancy and well kept or long and out of control? You know what...let us be the judge of that! Come down and let us decide. Awards will be given.
Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest - Jennifer Hamby claims that NO ONE will be able to beat her at this event, can you? Come down and see if you have what it takes!! The Chamber will also be selling slices of watermelon through out the day.
We also plan on live entertainment throughout the day, a kids zone and vendor booths. Plan to spend the day with your family at the Beggs Family Frontier Day Celebration!
The Beggs Round-Up Club will have evening entertainment with Bull Riding, Wild Horse Racing and a Dance to follow. Events will start at 8:00pm
